Room was very nice. Equipped with kettle and cups. Clean bathroom with towels except the toiletries (shampoo, shower gel, soap) The lobby is fantastic. Garden is beautiful and tranquil, perfect for leasuring around and contemplating. Bar is totally equipped 😊🍻. People who stayed here were very friendly and nice. There is a general feeling of safety and trust so everyone's stuff is all over the place which makes it feel certainly like home. Big love for this place.

Stayed at this hostel a couple of days ago. Here are my pros and cons: Pros: Decent price. Okay location near a subway. Stayed in a private room- good amount of space for a couple. Cons: 1. Internet: Terrible. The worst connection. Honestly it’s the worst internet I’ve ever used in my life. So slow and just not convenient when you are trying to look up stuff to do in Shanghai. 2. Staff: The lady called Shannon who works at the front desk is quite rude. It seems like when we tried to speak to her it’s a bother for her. It’s not very welcoming and isn't professional. I suggest you get someone else for the front desk as it’s not good for business. However the two gentlemen that work behind the bar are friendly. 3. Social areas: I was shocked at how quiet and antisocial this hostel was. Not like other hostels I’ve stayed in. Going into the common spaces was like walking into a library. Everyone on their laptops in silence. If you want a more lively hostel and to meet people, do not stay here. Overall I give this hostel a 2/5. I would not recommend anyone to stay here unless it’s purely based on price.

Comfortable hostel with various room types. The double bedroom comes with large room, firm mattress and equipped restroom. The facilities include pool table, dining room with bar area. Outside there is a water pond with Japanese carf fish. The service at the reception and bar are good. The only downside (although not unexpected) is the noise insulation, for example, sometimes you hear noise from the rooms above or from outside. Not sure why, in the morning, the housemaids always talk loudly in the hallway.

Awesome hotel. Very clean. Friendly staff. Excellent facilities. Good location for getting around Shanghai. Value for money. Good WiFi. Laundry. Very nice clean room. Good shower. Constant hot water. Only downside is the English breakfast, the cook obviously needs to YouTube how to cook one. Easily the worst one I have ever tried. Just drop it from the menu guys.

Great social hostel with a beautiful patio, a nice common room and a relaxed pavilion outside for evening conversations after a day of exploring. My only caveat were the rooms. There are no blinds to get some privacy when sleeping in a crowded dorm room
