For a short stay in a town where we spent most of the time out of the hotel room this place is perfect. It was clean, the common areas were comfy, there were postcards available for purchase and they would mail them for you. Free hot coffee, cocoa. The shower vents directly into the room, I was worried it would make the room hot and sticky but there must be some built in ventilation so it was not. Shampoo, conditioner, lotion and hair dryer provided. The sound insulation is not good but all the guests were quiet, if you a ligjt aleeper get a room away from vending/ice machines. Great location, We walked easily to our tour meeting location w all suitcases. It is an efficiency type accomodation so if you need a kitchenette, views or to be waited on look elsewhere; if you want very clean, comfy and convenient place at a good price look no further.

All in all we were pretty disappointed with our stay here. We booked a deluxe queen and when we entered our room we were surprised with how small it was. The bed was INCREDIBLY squeaky so I asked if we were able to swap rooms, the only room they had available was another on the same floor that did not have either mountain or lake views as is promised with a deluxe queen. This is understandable as this was the only room available but nothing was offered or acknowledged in place of the downgrade. We are never ones to complain but the bed was unbearable. The view was now of the back highway, out of a tiny window in the corner of the room which doesn’t even open. This was the same with the deluxe queen but with a view of the lake! On top of this, the promised mi-pad my concierge app didn’t work, which we asked reception for help and they were unable to get it to work. The lift was also out of service for the duration of our stay, whilst staff were able to carry our bags up to our room which was fantastic it still was less than ideal. The location is great I will say but it definitely does not live up to its promise and we were very disappointed with the room swapping situation. The doors are also really loud from the hallway and whilst the shower and toilet are separate in the room, the towel rail is in the toilet - it just is a crazy design with the sink in the main room as well! This is very poor value for money compared with other options with similar locations.

We absolutely loved our stay at mi-pad! The location was fantastic for exploring Queenstown, the room was comfy, the rooftop was great, and it was great value for money. More than anything, though, the staff were SO nice and helpful. We stayed there on Christmas, and woke up to a stocking on our door filled with little treats and a card... literally the sweetest and most thoughtful thing ever. They truly went above and beyond.

The room was clean. Quite small. The new trend of bathroom without walls is terrible. No privacy at all. The toilet “room” has an automated system that turns on the light whenever you step in. Stupid and annoying at night when someone is sleeping. No drawers at all. The sink is by the door. No coffee or tea. For this price it should be a minimum

Great location, very friendly staff. Great having vending machines and ice maker on each floor. Super comfortable bed. Room was well set up. Only thing to note is no bar fridges in the rooms. I guess this helps then keep their rates so reasonable. I was hoping to be able to hire a portable fridge but that wasn’t an option at this time. I had a great stay - would definitely stay there again.
